About Nidessa Homes
How We Started
Nidessa Homes began with a simple observation that did not sit right.
In Saharanpur, a city known for its wood craftsmanship, artisans have been creating beautifully detailed wooden products for generations. Their work travels across the world and is valued in international markets.
But in India, the same level of craftsmanship was not easily accessible.
Instead, most homes were filled with mass-produced alternatives that lacked the depth, quality, and character of handmade work. At the same time, the artisans behind these creations were often underpaid and hidden behind layers of middlemen.
That gap became the starting point.
Nidessa Homes was created to bring authentic craftsmanship back into Indian homes while ensuring the people behind it receive the value they truly deserve.
Founder
For our founder, Twinkle Matharu, this journey was deeply personal.
With roots connected to Saharanpur, she had seen this ecosystem up close. The time, patience, and skill that goes into shaping every piece of wood. The pride artisans take in their craft.
But she had also seen the other side. Skilled karigars are not being fairly rewarded, and their work often reaches global markets without recognition.
That contrast stayed with her.
What began as a thought slowly turned into a decision to build something meaningful. Not just a brand, but a platform that connects craftsmanship directly with the people who value it.
Vision
To make authentic Indian craftsmanship a natural part of modern homes.
Nidessa Homes envisions a space where handmade products are not seen as occasional purchases, but as everyday essentials.
Mission
To bring handcrafted wooden products directly from artisans to homes, with honesty and intention.
Every piece is made using seasoned wood like Mango, Sheesham, Acacia, and Teak.
What We Believe
At Nidessa Homes, we believe good products are not just about how they look, but how they live with you.
A tray should not just be decorative, it should be used.
A chopping board should not just sit in the kitchen, it should become part of your routine.
A wooden piece should not just fill space, it should add meaning.
Because in the end, the things that last are the ones you use every day.
Nidessa Homes
Made by hand.
Built to last.
Meant to be lived with.
